Chess Camp in Augustów organized by Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe
Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe invites young chess players to spend an inspiring summer week in Augustów, one of the most beautiful lake districts of Poland. What Makes This Camp Special A Unique Chess & Active Holiday Format: An intensive chess camp with professional coaches — including a Grandmaster and titled masters — combined with sports, nature, swimming, outdoor activities, and a healthy gadget-free routine. Comfortable Accommodation by the Lake: Participants will stay in cozy accommodation located near the lake, in a peaceful natural setting surrounded by Augustów’s beautiful nature. Learn to Think Like a Strong Player: The camp helps young players develop deeper chess understanding, stronger calculation skills, strategic thinking, and confidence at the board — the kind of mindset used by experienced tournament players. Two Chess Training Sessions Every Day: Participants will have daily chess lessons with experienced coaches, working on tactics, strategy, openings, endgames, practical play, and game analysis. Groups by Level: Children will be divided into groups according to their chess level — from beginners and confident young players to tournament participants. Tournaments, Prizes, and Game Analysis: The program includes friendly and competitive tournaments with prizes, followed by analysis of games and key moments with coaches. Experienced International Coaching Team: Training will be led by inspiring chess professionals with international titles and many years of experience working with children. Multilingual Environment: Camp communication will be available in English, Russian, Latvian, Polish, and Lithuanian. Swimming, Sports, and Fresh Air: The daily program includes swimming, sports training, outdoor games, movement, and active time in nature — helping children recharge, stay healthy, and enjoy a real summer camp atmosphere. Sports Program Led by an Olympic Athlete: The sports and outdoor activity program will be led by Karina Vnukova, a titled Lithuanian athlete and participant of the Beijing Olympic Games. Safe and Comfortable Territory: Children will stay in a safe, peaceful, and comfortable environment surrounded by nature. Four Meals a Day: Full-board accommodation includes four meals per day, helping participants stay energized throughout the active camp schedule. Organized Transfer: Transfer options will be provided by the organizers to make arrival and departure easier for families. Daily Parent Updates: Parents will have access to a dedicated chat with daily photo and video updates from camp activities. More Than Chess: After the camp, participants will return home with stronger chess skills, more confidence, new friends, memorable summer experiences, and motivation to keep improving their game.
